As the name states, every piece in this collection is a beautiful work of art. The original designs of this collection hail from a small, family-owned factory in Sicily in a town where almost the entire population is dedicated to the making of pottery. Creating modern designs that are rooted in tradition is very important to the members of this family; thus, they have modified age-old styles into a new look that embodies the feeling and history of their culture, using the vibrant colors of their native land. Allegria means joy, exuberance. The beautiful reds in this collection along with the bright blue and white create an effect that is flame-like or reminiscent of a peacock feather. The Bellarte collection is multi-faceted; it can reflect sophistication for a formal dinner party or casual elegance on the patio. This collection looks especially nice in combination with the Bellarte Tramonto collection.
